Maryse Alen werd geboren met een

hartafwijking. De diagnose werd pas

31 jaar later vastgesteld. Daardoor kreeg

ze verschillende bijna-doodervaringen.

Tijdens deze ervaringen reisde ze door een

licht- en kleurenwereld waarin een gevoel

van vrijheid en intensiteit haar volledig

overspoelde. Na de operatie verdwenen

deze ervaringen maar kwam de vraag

in haar op: 'Kan ik hier en nu leven met

diezelfde vrijheid en intensiteit?' Zij vond

het antwoord opnieuw door de kleuren die

in haar werken verschenen....
