There are many psychological needs in the world. As Christians we should be willing to give the necessary support. We have been in “Egypt” (secular psychotherapy) for too long. We must leave the Egypt of worldly counseling in order to develop a true Christian psychotherapy. Our counseling serves the liberation of this world and aims to set humankind free, to heal and to strive towards a full recovery of body, soul and spirit.

After I told a number of people in my personal surroundings that I had written this book, they had a variety of feedback for me. The whole process, the writing and editing and formatting, from which this book stemmed, is to weird to explain. My first concern was that I did not want to put Jesus words in His mouth which He never would have uttered.
