De aankoop werd gekoppeld aan de langdurige bruikleen van 39 andere kunstwerken uit diezelfde collectie aan het museum. Deze gebeurtenis vormt het startpunt van een unieke en belangrijke publiek-private samenwerking in België, waaruit deze tentoonstelling voortvloeit.
