It’s December 1944, and knowing they wouldn’t be home for Christmas, a handful of battle weary GIs decide to throw a holiday party for the children of Wiltz, Luxembourg.
Ten Days later the town is all but destroyed during the Battle of the Bulge, and in the years that followed, Wiltz never forgot the kindness and generosity of those soldiers that one St. Nicolas Day.
For thirty years the people of Wiltz searched for those soldiers, and especially the American St. Nicolas, in hopes of bringing them back once again.
