This dictionary examines and explains every single word (c. 3.350) that appears in Catullus’ poems – with the exception of the generally rejected poems 18-20 – and aims to lend a hand to the numerous poetry lovers and students, who bravely set out to explore his work.

There are many excellent English translations of Catullus’ poetry. The suggestions for translation in this dictionary are indications, which may clarify Catullus’ words.
