Sinds 1997 heeft de Stichting Cultuur Inventarisatie (SCI) zich ingezet voor de ontsluiting van museale collecties van Hollandse en Vlaamse schilderijen in ver uiteenlopende gebieden als Midden- en Oost-europa, India en Cuba.
