In 2019 verwierf de Vlaamse Gemeenschap ‘Great American Nude #45’ (1963) van Tom Wesselmann uit de Collectie Matthys-Colle. De aankoop werd gekoppeld aan de langdurige bruikleen van 39 andere kunstwerken uit diezelfde collectie aan het museum. making pencil drawings that can be considered as the work of

a ‘human printer’, like man created computers in his mind.
