Dr. Nico van der Sijde promoveerde cum laude in de taalfilosofie en was docent aan de Faculteit der Letteren in Groningen. Sinds 2007 is hij senior adviseur praktijkgericht onderzoek bij het Stafbureau Onderwijs & Onderzoek van de Hanzehogeschool Groningen, en de laatste jaren is hij nauw betrokken bij het Centre of Expertise Ondernemen en het Centrum voor Talent en Leren.
